Eloise Jeannette Eisenhauer Snavely

Eloise Jeannette Eisenhauer Snavely, 86, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, September 17th, 2014 in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Frank and Mae Hummel Eisenhauer. Eloise was the wife of the late Roy “Punch” Snavely who passed away May 13th,2008. Mrs. Snavely was retired from the Press Department at S. Kantor Co. after 40 years of service. She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She was well known for her baking and spoiling her grandchildren. Surviving are her son: Thomas Snavely of Lebanon; daughter in law: Susan Snavely of Mt. Wilson; grandchildren: Jill, wife of Marino Taraschi; Suann Snavely and her wife Corrie Breen; Wendy Snavely, Nikki, wife of Don Burchett; Courtney, wife of John D. Allen; Emily Brown, partner of Angelica Cancel; Christopher Snavely and wife Stephanie; Roberta Snavely; great grandchildren: Ashley, wife of Frank Michaels; Janelle Roof; Liam Taraschi; Ophelia Castellitto; Mandy Allen; Lucy Allen; great-great grandchildren: Casey Garner; step great grandchildren: Rachel and Elizabeth Paulson; brother: Jay, husband of Marlene Eisenhauer, Johnstown; sister: Frances Boyer of Lebanon and several nieces and nephews. Eloise was predeceased by her son: LeRoy Snavely; grandson: Thomas Snavely; brothers: Frank, Eugene, and Jack Eisenhauer. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 22nd, 2014 in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, Pa., 17042 at 10:00AM with a viewing from 9:00AM until the service time. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville at 11:30AM.
