Erma Betty M. Walter Daubert

Erma M. “Betty” Daubert, 89, Lebanon, died Friday January 28, 2011 in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Alfred G. Daubert, Sr. She was born in Lebanon on November 20, 1921, a daughter of the late Ammon D., Sr. and Sadie Herman Walter. She was a member of Hoy Trinity Lutheran Church, where she had served as treasurer of her Sunday school class for many years. She had formerly owned and operated Betty and Al’s Ceramic Shop in Lebanon; and she was a proficient poet who most recently was published in the Lebanon Community Library’s annual poetry album. She is survived by children: Diane M. Dohner, Lebanon, Alfred G. Daubert, Jr., Lebanon; Jeffrey D. and wife Jodie Daubert, Mechanicsburg; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 A.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 5th & Cumberland Sts., Lebanon, where a viewing will be held beginning at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s memory to the Lebanon Community Library, 125 N. 7th Street, Lebanon, PA 17046.
