Frederick E Maurer Sr.

Frederick E. Maurer, Sr., 90, Lebanon, passed away on Monday October 12, 2015 in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Grace Conner Maurer. He was born in Lebanon on September 18, 1925 a son of the late John and Effie Sherman Maurer. He had worked for many years as a delivery driver for Klopp & Cetron. He was a member of the Lebanon Moravian Church where he served in the Men’s Brotherhood of the church and was a member of the Young at Heart group of the church. He is survived by children: Patty wife of Thomas Kreiser, Jeff husband of Diana Maurer, Wendy wife of Timothy Zimmerman; grandchildren: Jean Williams, Amanda Kreiser, Jason Maurer, Justin Maurer, Timothy Zimmerman, Jr., David Zimmerman, Kimberly Garrison, Robert Maurer; 15 great-grandchildren; nephew: Donald Maurer, Jr. He was preceded in death by a son: Frederick E. Maurer, Jr. and a brother: Donald Maurer, Sr. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 P.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a viewing will begin at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be made in the Moravian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Moravian Church of Lebanon, 1115 Birch Rd., Lebanon, PA 17042.
