

George A. Miller, 69, Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday October 31,2012 in his residence surrounded by his family who loved him dearly. He was the loving husband of Ferne Heverling Miller with whom he celebrated a 48th wedding anniversary in April. He was born in Stouchsburg on April 22, 1943 a son of the late Mary Lora Warlow. He was a 1961 graduate of Lebanon High School and was retired from Manheim Raybestos with 35 years of service. He was also retired from the Lebanon School District after working for many years at the Harding Elementary School as a custodian. He was a NASCAR fan rooting for Kasey Kahne; he loved to read; enjoyed cheering for Tiger Woods and spending time in Ocean City, MD. After many years, he finally enjoyed his first airplane flight to San Antonio, TX for his 69th birthday. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and was loved by everyone especially his “Harding family.” In addition to his wife, George is survived by daughters: Kim Miller, Mt. Gretna; Gina Brightbill, Cleona; Alana wife of Ronald Kirby, Jr., Annville; grandchildren: Haylee Brightbill, Makenzi Brightbill, Ryan Kirby, Payton Kirby, step-brother: Jack Warlow, San Antonio, TX; step-sister: Carol Lengle, Lebanon; aunt: Betty wife of John Hotzman and uncle: Earl and wife Grace Miller; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a time of visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Private family interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Lebanon Unit, P. O. Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042.
