Gladys S Weise

Gladys S. Waltz, 92, of Stone Ridge Poplar Run, Myerstown, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 in the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Weise. She was born in Lebanon on October 16, 1924, a daughter of the late George and Stella Fox Waltz. Gladys was employed as a secretary at IGMR and later for Royer’s Flower Shop. She was an active member of the Lebanon County Flower Club and conducted bus tours for the club. She was a Board member of the Lebanon County March of Dimes, Lebanon Valley Senior Center, and an active member of First Evangelical Congregational Church of Lebanon taking care of the flowers for over 20 years. She loved flowers and making floral arrangements. She won many blue ribbons at the Lebanon County Flower Shows. Gladys and her husband Charles were stained glass crafters and sold their SunCatchers for many years participating in many juried craft shows throughout Pennsylvania and adjoining states. She is survived by a son, Donald M. Weise and wife Sally Weise of Lebanon; grandchildren, Douglas Weise of Lebanon and Danielle Martin of Lakeville, CT; great grandchildren, Jessica Weise, Lauren Weise, Ryan Martin, Marykate Martin, Reilly Martin and Cameron Martin. She was preceded in death by a brother, George Waltz. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 1:30 PM in Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon with a viewing beginning on Friday at 12:30 PM. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park.
