Hilda R. Welsh

Hilda R. Welsh, 93, formerly of Lebanon passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012 in Manor Care Health Services in Camp Hill. She was born in Cleona, PA on October 12, 1918, daughter of the late George and Dora Bachman Gingrich. She retired from T.R.W. in Harrisburg. Hilda was a member of the Keystone Mother of Twins Club, volunteered at the Hyman-Caplan & Good Samaritan Hospitals in Lebanon, enjoyed bingo and was the original building manager of Markethouse Place Apts. in Lebanon. She was the beloved mother of: Nancy L. Hiestand and husband Raymond, Kresgeville, PA; Kathleen L. Strickler, Schaefferstown, PA; Dora “Jean” Gladhart, Alexandria, VA; Sally A. Gethouas and husband Paul, Enola, PA; Richard G. Welsh and wife Lucy, Land O’ Lakes, FL; Robin G. Welsh, Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother: Clarence “Abie” Gingrich and his wife Bertha “Sis” Gingrich; sisters: Esther M. Gingrich and Emma S. Graby. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon where a viewing will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be made in Covenant Greenwood Cemetery.
