James C. Apple, 47, Lebanon, died Friday February 11, 2011 in his residence. He was born in Lebanon on June 21, 1963, a son of Willie P. Abbott Apple and the late Henry Apple, Jr. He was a 1982 graduate of Lebanon High School and had served in the U. S. Navy. He had been employed by Brentwood Industries. He attended Brightside Baptist Church, Lancaster and was a member of the Lebanon American Legion where he served as Judge Advocate and a Service Officer. He coached T-ball and was an avid sports fan who loved the Lakers, USC Trojans, Raiders and the Dodgers. He loved spending time with his family. In addition to his mother, he is survived by children: Kia A. Apple, Jalisha M. Apple and James C. Apple, Jr., all of Lebanon; sisters: Violet M. Apple, Wilmington, MA; Pamela R. Apple, Lebanon; brothers: Wayne C. and wife Robin Apple, Cheltenham, MD; Alphonso L. Apple and wife Jenell, Lebanon; Alonzo L. Apple and wife Angela, Lebanon; grandmother: Viola Apple, Danville, VA; also aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and an extended surrogate family of close friends. He was precede in death by sisters; Theressa Ann Apple, Wanda J. Albino; and niece: Arianna Apple. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 A.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 5th & Cumberland Sts., Lebanon. Viewing will be Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. and Friday from 10:00 A.M. to the time of service in the funeral home.
