Janice T. McDonnell

Janice T. McDonnell, 88, Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away on September 18, 2023 in the Beebe Hospital in Lewes, DE. She was the wife of the late Thomas McDonnell who passed away in 2015. Janice was born in Jonestown, PA on January 6, 1935, a daughter of the late Raymond and Grace (Tobias) Schneck. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School class of 1952. Janice enjoyed horseback riding; playing cards; going to bingo and watching sports, especially the Phillies and Flyers. Her favorite activity was going to the casinos. She is survived by friends, nieces, nephews; a son: Neil and a grandson Mark. She was preceded in death by brothers: Stuart, Russell, John and Ben as well as sisters: Margaret Hostetter, Lorraine Richie and Gilda Kreiser. Funeral services will be Tuesday September 26, 2023 at 1:00pm. in the Rohland Funeral Home 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a viewing will take place from 12:00 pm. until the time of service. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. We wish to thank all the caregivers and health care workers as well as the ambulance crews of Rehoboth and Lewes for their great service.
