John H. Shuey

John H. Shuey, 80, of Lebanon died on Thursday, March 11, 2010 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Joyce J. Shuey. He was born in Grantville, PA on September 29, 1929, son of the late Charles U. and Alice Sealer Shuey. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. and its affiliate Millard’s Quarry after 46 years of service. He was an avid bowler at Cedar Lanes and a fan of NASCAR particularly Dale Earnhardt. He also loved family picnics. He is survived by his sons: Ronald L. Shuey and wife Karen, Lebanon; Steven C. Shuey and wife Sheila, Lebanon; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; sisters: Mary Weller, Arlene Weller, Violet Zellers, Joyce Baker and Linda Fake; brother-in-law: Robert Fake and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon where a viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6 – 8 PM and from 9:00 AM Tuesday until the time of the service. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., P.O.
