Josephine B. Lutz

Josephine B. Lutz, 86, of Lebanon died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in Elmcroft of Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Lloyd H. “Nugget” Lutz who passed away in 1988. She was born in Lebanon on November 2, 1925, daughter of the late Roy and Ida Rutter Matters. She retired from the Everite Knitting Mills, Lebanon. Josephine was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active in the Klover Class. She was a member of the Lebanon VFW Post #23. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter: Kathy Jo wife of William Bishop, Lebanon; granddaughter, Lindsay Bishop Seidel and husband Gregory, Lebanon; grandson: Bradley Bishop, Lebanon; great-grandchildren: Madison Bishop, Carter Seidel, Jackson Seidel and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother: Roy Matters; sisters: Evelyn Ceresini and Mary Jane Shepler. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046 where a viewing will begin at 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church. The Rohland Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
