June A. Light, 92, of Cornwall, PA. died Friday, August 21 in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of Charles R. Light who passed away in 2012. She was born on June 4, 1934 in Myerstown, PA. She was a 1952 graduate of Cornwall High School. She was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Mary A. Barto Marks. She retired from the Cornwall – Lebanon School District where she was employed as a Teachers Aide at Cornwall Elementary School. After retirement, she was employed in the gift shop at the Hershey Lodge. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd. She enjoyed designing, making alterations and sewing costumes for Cornwall Elementary School. She also assisted with sewing costumes for Cedar Crest Middle and High School Musicals. She is survived by her sons: Bruce E. Light and wife Deborah of Rexmont and Kerry L. Light and wife Pam of Denver, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Bruce Jr. (Chris) and Susan (Erik), her two great grandchildren, Madalynn Mary and Isabella Nicole Barnhart. Her beloved dog Roxy now living in Florida, also survives her. Her brothers, Harry A. Marks Jr. and Richard Marks and nephews and nieces also survive. She was preceded in death by son Steven R. Light and her sister, Ruth A. Baum. A Funeral Service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA. 17042 on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM with a viewing from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
