

Larry R. “Moose” Hartman, 72, of Lebanon, passed into the company of loved ones and his Lord, suddenly at home on Monday, September 30, 2013. Larry is survived by wife Dorothy R. Hartman to whom he was married 51 years in June. He was born in Lebanon on September 3, 1941, a son of the late George D. and Mary Greish Hartman. He was employed by Penn Dot and retired after 40 years of service. He also served as an officer for many years for AFSCME, Local 2157. Larry is also survived by sons, David at home, Mark husband of Mary Hissner Hartman and Daniel Hartman; granddaughter, Alyssa; grandson, Alexander; brother, Kenneth Hartman all of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by siblings, Terry L. and Joan P. Hartman; beloved dogs, Prince, Princess and Buddy. Larry was well known locally as DJ of teen dances in the 60’s; first disco DJ of 70’s at the Sho-Bar and hosted the Hall of Fame show on radio in the 80’s and 90’s. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon with a viewing beginning on Saturday at 9 AM. Interment will be made in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
