Lawrence R Krick

Lawrence R. Krick, 70, died February 2, 2011 in Chicago, IL. He was born in Lebanon, PA a son of the late Herman S. and Evelyn L. Page Krick. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church and the Orthodox Christian Education Society. Larry attended Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA from 1958-1962 and the Brookline Seminary in NY. He traveled extensively to Greece and Italy. Larry assisted Constantinos Andronis in publishing books and translating them from Greek to English and was a doorman at a condo complex in Chicago on Lake Shore Drive. He is survived by a brother, Herman “Skip” Krick, Jr. of Lebanon, PA; aunt Grace and uncle Martin Grimes, nieces, nephews, cousins in Lebanon County; god parent, Spencer Speros and wife Janet of Lancaster, PA. He was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Ann Krick, grandmothers, Ellen Krick Grimes and Mammy Stella Page; god parents, Katina “Carrie” and James Speros. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the Holy Resurrection of Christ Serbian Orthodox Church, 122 E. Weidman St., Lebanon, PA with a visitation beginning on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Interment will be made in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Holy Resurrection of Christ Serbian Orthodox Church, 116 E. Weidman St., Lebanon, PA 17046.
