Louise M Martin

Louise “ Peg ” Light Martin, of Lebanon, passed away at Golden Ridge Personal Care Home, Robesonia on Tuesday, May 10th, 2011. She was born in Lebanon on January 3rd, 1921, a daughter of the late Allen H. and Amy E. Shaak Light. Peg was the wife of the late Robert J. Martin. Mrs. Martin was formerly employed by Marco Electric Co. She Graduated from South Lebanon High School in 1939. Peg enjoyed working outside, gardening and fishing. She was a former member of the North East Swim Club in Lebanon. She helped with Auxiliary Support of local Fire Departments. She attended Living Waters Chapel. Surviving is her Son: Billie Lee, husband of Barbara Sterner Light of Myerstown; Grandson: Rev. Christopher J., husband of Alysha Light of Jonestown; two Great Granddaughters, a Step Granddaughter; two Step Great Granddaughters and two Step Great Grandsons; three Step Great Great Grandsons and a Step Great Great Granddaughter; Brother: James F., husband of Judith Light of Myerstown; Sister: Betty Miller of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her sisters: Christine Smith, Helen Brush, Sara Shindel; brothers: Linwood and Major General Allen H. Light. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 13th, 2011 at 1:30PM in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA., 17042 with Rev. Christopher J. Light and Pastor D. Dean Cover, pastors of Living Waters Chapel officiating. A viewing will be held from 12:30 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
