Lynn Edward Allen Foster

Lynn Edward Allen Foster, 72, of Jonestown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in the Geisinger Community and Medical Center, Scranton, PA. He was the husband of Arlene F. Posey Foster with whom he was married to for 5 years. He was born in Lebanon on February 27, 1945, a son of the late Elliott Allen and Kathleen May Foster. Lynn was employed for the last 35 years as an independent truck driver. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War and a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion. He was enjoyed gardening, following NASCAR, was a canine handler and loved antique car. Surviving in addition to his wife are step children, Shawn M. Hitz of Jonestown; Lorn G. W. Hitz of Bangor, PA; Melanie McGarry and husband David of East Stroudsburg, PA; Bonne’ Gonzalez and husband Richard of IN; 9 step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; children, Calvin Lynn Foster and wife Beatrice of Jonestown; Crystal Lynn Lippincott of Jonestown; Corey Lynn Foster of Jonestown; Cathleen Lynn Heck of Lebanon; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great- great grandchild; brother in laws, Kelley Posey and wife Elaine of Annandale, VA; Earl Hollenbach of Jonestown; nephews, Edie and Eric Hollenbach. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Hollenbach. Memorial service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11 am in Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon with a visitation beginning on Monday at 10 am. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Fredericksburg American Legion, 669 Legionaire Drive, Fredericksburg, PA 17038.
