Mary L. Shoop

Mary L. Shoop, 91, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, October 30th, 2016 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born on November 30th, 1924 in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth White Kissinger. Mary was the wife of the late Harry L. Shoop Jr. who passed away July 23rd, 1973. Mrs. Shoop was a cook at Fairview Golf Course for 35 years before retiring. She was a member of St. John’s U.M. church, Lebanon. Surviving is her daughter: Susan L, wife of John Kercher, Lebanon; son: Bill, husband of Glenda Shoop, Hershey; granddaughter: Suzanne M. Kercher, companion of Wes White, Lancaster; sisters: Georgine Hoke of Annville and Jackie, wife of Jerry Henning, Lebanon; numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by a sister: Katheryn Emerich and brothers: Walter and Leonard Kissinger. A funeral service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA, 17042 on Friday, November 4th, 2016 at 11:00AM with a viewing from 9:30AM until the time of the service.
