Merrilyn L. Dundore, 83, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday September 16, 2026 in Lebanon Skilled Nursing Home. Merrilyn was born in Lebanon on September 7, 1943, a daughter of the late Eugene and Marian (Hess) Leedy. She had been a bartender for the Lebanon VFW Post 23 for many years. She also had served as a former president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was a lifetime member. She had been a member of the Lebanon Senior Center where she enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid pinochle player. Merrilyn also bowled and love to sing and dance, knowing the lyrics to almost every song. Merrilyn was a generous person who enjoyed life by serving others; aways placing the needs of others before hers. She is survived by sons: Thomas Speece and David and wife Karen Speece; grandchildren: Ryan Speece, Kimberly Speece and Joshua Speece; siblings: Kathy wife of Tony James and Brian and wife Chairie Leedy as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Ann Margaret Speece; sister: Judith Heagy and brother: Richard Leedy. Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday October 3, 2026 at 11:00 am in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, with a time of visitation from 10:00am until the time of service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Lebanon VFW Post 23 718 Chestnut St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
