Michael P. Kurtz, 60, of Myerstown, passed away on Saturday May 9, 2026 in Lebanon Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center. He was the husband of the late Geri Triviets Kurtz who passed away in 2021. Mike was born in Mechanicsburg on February 11, 1966 a son of the late Oran S. Kurtz, Sr. and the late Alice F. (Gordon) Kurtz. He had been employed by Plain and Fancy in Terre Hill. Mike loved to hunt, fish, go boating and sing. He was a huge sports fan who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed making TikTok videos and was a fan of Country and Western music. He enjoyed cooking and making his own BBQ sauce for the meats he grilled and smoked. He also made some of the best pecan pies to be found. Mike was a true patriot who loved his country. He is survived by daughters Rebecca and Isabella; sisters: Florence (Tissy) Lytle, Alice Guillory, Peggy Lehman and Mille Carpenter as well as his dog Buck. He was preceded in death by brothers: Charles Kurtz and Oran Kurtz, Jr. and sister: Lillian Kurtz. Memorial services will held at a later date.
