Miriam M. Jamison, 88, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 in the Hospice and Community Care Center, Mt. Joy, PA. She was the wife of the late Harold O. Jamison. She was born on May 25, 1928 in Yoe, York County, PA, a daughter of the late Pius F. and Emma E. Horn Knisley. Miriam was a public health nurse retiring from the state of Pennsylvania and Florida. She is survived by children, Gregory S. Jamison and wife Amy of Dade City, FL; Elizabeth deVere and husband Kirk of Lancaster, PA; grandchildren, Anastasia Skala, Emily Jamison and Johnmatthew Jamison and her beloved dog, Rascal. She was preceded in death by a brother, Emerson. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Florida.
