Myrle E. Bender, 96, Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday March 4, 2026 in Cedar Haven. She was born in Lebanon on July 30, 1929 a daughter of the late Mark and Bertha (Fake) Rhen. She had been employed by Sterling packaging. Myrle had been a member of the Quilting Club of Salem Lutheran Church; Goodwill Fire Company Auxiliary and she enjoyed playing bingo and doing crafts. She loved spending time with her family and was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. She is survived by children: William J. Bender; Darlene E. Nace and Sherry A. Bender; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister: Joanne Muth. She was preceded in death by brothers: Walter, Harlen, Ralph and Lee Rhen and sisters: Ethel Long and Esther Rhen. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2026 at 11:00am. in the Rohland Funeral Home 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a time of visitation will take place from 10:00 am. until the time of service. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern PA 919 Walnut St. Unit 700 Philadelphia, PA 19107.
