Nancy M. Matthew, 89 of Lebanon passed away on Friday July 25, 2025 in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Harry K. Matthew. Nancy was born in Lebanon on May 26, 1936 a daughter of the late Lloyd and Esther Hess Roth. She had been employed for many years by Boscov’s and had been a member of St. Stephen’s UCC where she served as past-president of the Women’s Guild; was a member of church council and served as a custodian. She was presently a member of First Baptist Church. Nancy loved to sing and performed with the Sweet Adelines. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and she loved to travel and go camping. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by children: Linda wife of James Diem, Willow Hill; Harry K., Jr. and Tina Matthew, Manheim; grandchildren: Jason and wife Nichole Deim; Lynette wife of Jason Blair; Eric and wife April Diem; Jared and wife Emily Matthew; Kelly wife of Peter Bowker; Lisa wife of Jeff Mayfield; 15 great-grandchildren; sister: Carol Heilman as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son: Edwin Matthew; grandson: Josiah Matthew; sister: Grace Swanger; brothers: Robert and Richard Roth. Funeral services will be Thursday July 31, 2025 at 11:00 am in First Baptist Church, 20 Linden Rd., Lebanon, PA 17042 with a time of viewing from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
