Patricia A. Nies, 65, Lebanon, died Tuesday October 11, 2011 in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of David B. Nies with whom she celebrated a 20th wedding anniversary in June and the late R. Thomas Heverling. She was born in Lebanon on Aoril 30, 1946 a daughter of the late Adam Koons and the late Florence Boyer Koons Rudisill. She was a retired housekeeper having worked for Jubilee Ministries. She was a member of Trinity U. M. Church, Lebanon. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter: Tammy Heverling, companion of Greg Munnion, Lebanon; 4 grandchildren; brother: William and wife Carol Koons, Lebanon; sister: Maybelle Martin, Manheim; also nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 A.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 preceded by a viewing beginning at 9:00 A.M. Interment will be made in the Covenant Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Aid and Safety Patrol, 254 S. Eleventh St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
