Penelope "Penny" Jo Brown

Penelope “Penny” J. Brown, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2026. She was born on August 28, 1951, in Reading, a daughter of the late Francis and Betty June (Heim) Fisher. On June 5, 1982, she married Kenneth W. Brown. He sadly precedes her in death after 25 years of marriage.

Penny was a graduate of North Lebanon High School. She worked as home health caregiver for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and crafting, often making decorative wreaths as gifts for her loved ones. She also adored her cats and Newfoundland dogs, especially Zoey, Cezar, Troubles and Tater.

She is survived by her sisters, Judy (Terry) Etzweiler and Terry “Peanut” (Robert) Hurley; brother, David Fisher; nieces, Korie (Jeffrey Brandt) Long and Desiree Fisher; nephew, Terry (Harmony) Etzweiler Jr.; as well as many grand nieces and nephews.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Betty; husband Kenneth; brothers, Ricky and Tim; and sisters Kelly and Jean.

Per the family’s wishes, there will be no public services at this time.
