Ralph E Light

Ralph E. Light, 82, Lebanon, passed away on Sunday February 5, 2017 in ManorCare, Lebanon. He was the husband of Barbara Gabler Light with whom he would have celebrated a 59th wedding anniversary in September. He was born in Annville on May 6, 1934 a son of the late Elmer and Edith Oldweiler Light. He was a retired farmer and truck driver for AWI. He had attended First Baptist Church and was a member of the Marion Grange in Stouchsburg. He loved God, Country and farming. In addition to his wife he is survived by children: Mark A. and wife Jo Lyn Light, Richland; Marlene wife of Robert Gunnells, Lebanon; Joyce wife of James Hartman, Lebanon; grandchildren: Matthew and wife Heather Light, Palmyra; Taylor and Sierra Gunnells, Lebanon; Katie and Jason Light, Richland; brothers: Richard and wife Sophie Light, Fredericksburg; Ronald Light, Bernville; Barry and wife Leanne Light, Bernville; Jeffrey Light, Womelsdorf; sisters; Elaine wife of Charles Graeff, Myerstown; Betty wife of Harold Schaeffer, Myerstown; Karen wife of Eugene Trimble, Wernersville; Joann wife of Reginald Hayes, Lebanon. He was preceded in death by brothers: Leonard, Russell, Kenny and Dale Light. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 A.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. to the time of service. Interment with full military honors will be made in the National Cemetery at Ft. Indiantown Gap. In lieu of flowers the family suggest a contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
