
Reuben F. Miller, Jr., 89, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Janet I. Lengel Klinger Miller with whom he celebrated 33 years of marriage. He was born on September 5, 1927 in Lebanon, a son of the late Reuben F. Miller, Sr. and Elsie M. Fields Miller. Reuben was employed for 33 ½ years in the maintenance department at Lebanon School District. He was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, Lebanon; Lebanon VFW, Post 23; Independent Fire Co.; Avon Fire Co. where he served as former president; Liberty Fire Co.; Keystone Gun Club; and R. Field and Stream. Reuben served in the US Navy during World War II and Korean War and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving in addition to his wife are step son, Thomas W. Klinger and wife Jean of Spotsylvania, VA; step daughters, Patricia A. Rusnak and husband Joseph of Frackville; Janet M. Klinger of Mt Joy; Sharon S. Klinger of Mt. Joy; seven step grandchildren; eleven step great grandchildren; sister, Gloria Wenrich of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Furman. Graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 2:30 pm in Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, 1800 Oak St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Rohland Funeral Home, Inc. is handling his arrangements.
