Ricky L. Canby Sr.

Ricky L. Canby Sr. 61, of Lebanon, passed at home on Saturday, June 3, 2017. He was born on September 2, 1955 in Martinsburg, W.V, a son of the late Filmore Samuel Canby Jr. and Sylvia Jeanette Shade Canby. Ricky was the husband of Alice C. Schaeffer Canby to whom she married on March 29, 1980. Mr. Canby was Mechanic for Wolfes Auto Service. He was a former member of the Orioles, R Field and Stream and Keystone Gun Club. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and New York Yankee’s and NASCAR fan. Surviving is his wife and children: Nicole M. Kline; Ricky L. Canby Jr; Thomas E, husband of Heather Canby all of Lebanon; ten grandchildren; one great grandson; brothers: Preston K. and Roger Truax Jr. both of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland St, Lebanon, PA, 17042 on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 10:00AM with a viewing from 9:00AM until the time of the service. There will be an evening viewing on Thursday, June 8, 2017 in the funeral home from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Interment will be in Kimmerling’s Cemetery.
