Robert E Peiffer

Robert E. Peiffer, 73, of Jonestown, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 27th , 2010. He was born in Lebanon on July 20, 1937, a son of the late Elmer J. and Elsie Beamesderfer Peiffer. He was the husband of Harriet E. Cooper Peiffer. Mr. Peiffer was employed by Penn National Mutual as a seller/cashier. He was an avid Golfer, enjoyed bowling and going to the casino. He was a member of the Perserverance Fire Company, Jonestown and St. Johns United Methodist Church Pleasant Hill. Surviving besides his wife are his daughter: Linda Leibold and son: Randy Lee Peiffer both of Lebanon, grandchildren: Lonnie Leibold; LeAnne Leibold and Dereck Peiffer, great grandchildren: Lonnie Leibold Jr.and Lamont Leibold, sisters: Jane Ginnetto of Lebanon; Kathleen, wife of Richard Eisenhower of Fleetwood and Christine, wife of Glenn Snook of Lebanon, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers: Marlin, Elmer Jr. and Herbert Peiffer. A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 30th, 2010 from 7:00PM – 9:00PM in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA., 17042. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 31st, 2010 at 10:00AM in the funeral home with his pastor Rev. Samuel Fry officiating. A viewing will be from 9:00AM until the time of the service.
