Ruby Ann Dunn Smith

Ruby Ann Smith, 70, of Gretna Springs, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in her home. She was born in Lebanon on February 8, 1942, a daughter of Grace Mable Gibble Dunn of Lititz and the late Leo Lester Dunn. She was manager of Zales Jewelers in the Park City Mall and also the Lebanon Valley Mall for many years and later was an arbitration secretary for the Manheim Auto Auction for thirteen years. Ruby was a graduate of Lebanon High School and a member of the Lebanon Church of the Brethren. She received outstanding performance awards from Zales Jewelers; enjoyed writing poetry and gardening. Surviving in addition to her mother are children, Jeff husband of Joyce Smith of Lititz; Jodi Livering of Colebrook; grandchildren, Paul Livering, Jeff Smith, Autumn Tobias, Jonathan Smith, Nicholas Tobias and Patty Damron; sister, Carol Holt of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by a son, Todd Smith. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 1st at 11:00 AM in the Lebanon Church of the Brethren, 4th & Locust St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be made privately in the Midway Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Lebanon Church of the Brethren. Rohland Funeral Home, Inc. is handling her arrangements.
