Ruth M Boyer

Ruth M. Boyer, 78, passed away in Lebanon PA on Sunday April 2, 2023. Ruth was the wife of the late George L. Boyer. She was born December 10, 1944 in Montour County PA, the daughter of the late Allen and Grace (Hepler) Hoch. Ruth was a graduate of Lebanon High School, and went on to nursing school, graduating as an LPN. She began her nursing career taking care of children at pediatric office in Lebanon and later caring for the elderly at Cedar Haven. Ruth enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She liked going to church, singing, playing piano and going to car races. Ruth is survived by her children; Susan wife of Gregory Rzeplinski , Danial Boyer husband to Sheila, Deborah wife of Jamie Shiffer, Michael Boyer husband of Nicole, grandchildren; Jennifer Straynick, Kristopher Rzeplinski, Justin Fornwalt, Alexis Boyer, Madison Shiffer, Natasha Yiengst, great grandchildren; Liam Thor Straynick, Aria Hinkle, Alesandra Yiengst, siblings; Leon Hoch, Kevin Hoch, Carol Hartman, Robert Hoch and Wendy Young. A viewing will be held on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church 1776 PA-72 Lebanon PA from 9:30am-11:30am, followed by a funeral service at 11:30am.
