Ruth H. Brightbill

Ruth H. Brightbill, 87, of Myerstown died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in the E.C.C. Stoneridge Towne Centre, Myerstown. She was born in Bethel, PA on March 4, 1925, daughter of the late Howard and Mabel Henninger Heagy. Ruth was a member of the Altalaha Evangelical Lutheran Church and retired from the former Publix Shirt Factory in Myerstown. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed sports, dogs, cats and making puzzles. She is survived by her daughter: Carol A. Cortright, Lebanon; granddaughter: Dawn wife of Bryan Eshenour, Carlisle and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Howard and Homer Heagy; sisters: Caroline Rissinger, Pearl Bender and Kathryn Reber. Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday between 10-11 AM in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM in the Altalaha Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, 111 Godfrey St., Rehrersburg, PA 19550. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon Co., 150 N. Ramona Rd., Myerstown, PA 17067.
