Ruth Amelia Hooper

Ruth Amelia Hooper, 74, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, December 15th, 2013 in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg. She was born in Fontana, a daughter of the late Warren Norman Sr. and Susan Violet Weaver Rohr. Mrs. Hooper was retired from Redners Market, Fredericksburg where she was a salad bar clerk. She enjoyed Bingo, Pittsburgh Steelers and Wiggles her cat. Surviving are her sons: Ernest Jr; Kevin; Dwaine Brown Sr; daughters: Robin Morris; Cynthia Johnston; Terri Kienzle; 23 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; sisters: Kathryn Mathias; Joan Mull; Kay Moyer; brother: George Rohr Sr; many nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by a sister: Annabelle Brightbill; brothers: Warren Jr. and James Rohr; son in law: Steven Kienzle. A funeral service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc., 508 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, Pa., 17042 on Thursday, December 19th, 2013 at 10:00a.m. A viewing will be held from 9:00a.m. until the time of the service.
