Ruth J Wall

Ruth J. Wall, 97, of Lancaster died Friday, October 29, 2010 in the Hospice of Lancaster County. She was the wife of the late H. Lewis Wall. She was born in Illinois on May 19, 1913 and was the daughter of the late Arthur B. and Lillian Wenslaff Johnson. Ruth was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Millersville. She was a retired real estate agent and seamstress. She was a devoted grandmother who enjoyed traveling with her grandchildren. Ruth also was an accomplished pianist, an avid golfer and enjoyed playing games of all kinds. She is survived by her daughters: Susan M. wife of Richard D. Barley, Millersville; Denise K. Doyle, Mechanicsburg; grandchildren: Sara M. wife of Daniel Mongeau, Lancaster; Luke R. Barley, Philadelphia; Christopher P. Barley, NY and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Irene Rawes and her brother Arthur B Johnson. The family would like to thank the 7th floor staff and the chaplains of the Conestoga View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the excellent care given to their mother. A memorial service for Ruth will be held at a later date. The Rohland Funeral Home, Lebanon handled the arrangements.
