Sherman C. Emerich, 71, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, March 6th, 2013 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was born in Lebanon, a son of the Late Clayton S. Emrich and Helena M. Gernert Yordy. Sherman was the husband of Alice M. Bechtold Emerich. Mr. Emerich was employed by the Everite Knitting Mills as a cutter for approx. 37years and then went to work for Cedar Haven for 15 years in Maintance and Housekeeping. He attended Kochenderfer’s United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, daughters: Jane L., wife of Michael Vitalo, Sinking Springs; Carol J. Blouch of Lebanon and Nancy A., wife of Wayne Dove, Lititz; grandchildren: Christopher M. Keener of Cornwall; Ezekiel D. Blouch of Richland; Nathanael A. Blouch of Richland and Rachel E. Dove of Lititz; sisters: Mildred H., wife of Leroy Hess, Mechanicsburg; Mary Ann, wife of Kenneth Krammes, Lebanon and Kathleen, wife of Randall Stroh, Lebanon; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held in the Kochenderfer’s United Methodist Church 1105 Kochenderfer Rd., Lebanon, Pa., 17046 on Tuesday, March 12th, 2013 at 10:00a.m. A viewing will be from 9:00a.m. until the time of the service in the church.
