Shirley A. Gingrich

Shirley A. Gingrich, 76, of Lebanon died Monday, October 15, 2012 in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Terrence M. Gingrich. She was born in Lebanon on October 21, 1935, daughter of the late John and Bertha Frederick Emrich. She was formerly employed in housekeeping at the Hershey Medical Center and was a member of the Kochenderfer United Methodist Church, Lebanon. She enjoyed volunteering for numerous organizations and was known as “Mom” to many neighborhood children when she lived on Maple St. Shirley is survived by her children: Donna wife of Rick Rhen; Randy Gingrich and wife Cindy; Wendy wife of Thomas Gassert; Louise wife of the late Albert Bours; Patricia Gehret; Terrence Gingrich Jr.; Diane Gingrich; Shelli wife of Billy Blair all of Lebanon; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband and son Tim Gingrich. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Kochenderfer United Methodist Church, 1105 Kochenderfer Rd. Lebanon with the Rev. Matt Heckman officiating. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon and on Friday from 10:30-11 AM at the church. Interment will be made in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Shirley’s name to her church.
