Terry G White, 82, of Lebanon Passed away Tuesday, March 14th, 2023, at home surrounded by family and his beloved dog Shayla. He was born in Lebanon on January 23rd, 1941, to the late Lester E. White and Sylvia M. White. He was preceded in death by his companion of over 25 years, Lisa A. Ruiz, his daughter Tara A. Fernandez and four siblings, Betty J. Seibert, Lester E. White and Dennis Russell White.
In his younger years, at age 17 he enlisted and served four years in the United States Navy. He then went to New Orleans and served in the Merchant Marines. His last assignment was the USS Eunice out of San Diego, California. He was self-employed for many years as a general contractor and made many friends during his career. In his free time, he enjoyed puzzles, painting portraits, deep sea fishing, dancing, playing bingo and hanging out at the casino. He was an avid New Orleans Saints and Dale Earnhardt Sr fan. His favorite past time was spending time with his friends and family and his pride and joy, his dog.
Affectionately known as Blink or Whitey to his family and friends, he was quite the character. He had a vast knowledge, strong opinions and was never shy about sharing either one. He had a stubborn streak a mile long but beneath that lay a heart of gold. Generous to a fault, he was always there for people that needed him.
He is survived by 3 children: stepdaughter Ashley DeSevo, sons Terry White Jr and Wayne White; siblings Don White, Patricia Kreiser, Susan Valerio, Gary White; Grandchildren Brianna Baez, Xavier Baez, Zachary White, Derek White, Brayden Desevo and Patryck DeSevo; four Great Grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his two adopted nieces, Amie and Tammy Adams who he loved and adored and with whom he shared many adventures. Services will be held at Fort Indian Town Gap followed by a Celebration of Life Gathering with time and date TBD.
