My dear friend,
I know my life will be empty not having you here. I know one day I will see you one day again and everything will be good again. I will always remember the memories we had together good and bad. Wow we had alot of those over twenty-two short years. You have always been a part of our family and always will be. I know that when we see you again you will be there with open arms. I just want you to know I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH....JESSIE JESS

Looking back at all my memories... I see and admire Tonya on her strength and admiration to persue her dreams.

When Tonya started a new chapter of her life with Nick through many conversations it took her finally seeing herself as worthy to deserve this love of her life. She always devoted herself to her son Andrew, and was able to bring Andrew into her Fiancee's life as well!!
Tonya was strong, and able to show me how to be strong for the daughter in my life. Tonya showed me how to be giving. Tonya would always ensure that others needs were met before her own. She had a generous heart and would help others before herself. I envied her for this strength. I looked up to her as an older sister with wisdom. I was looking forward to our weekends where we would hang out... however to say the least I was growing more excited to see her on her wedding day. I know it was not how we planned but when she sees herself in her dress she will be happy to know she was in our best of intentions. Tonya is a beautiful mother, wife, and bride.

Tonya I am truly missing you its hard and I know Nick and Andy you'll both make it through. Tonya showed me many things in life. I am glad to have known her and share life. I have many memories since I grew up with the girls, I hope I can remain as strong as you showed me to be... I love you and will miss you, I can't wait to that day I see you again
Nick and Andrew I know words will not bring her back, and I know you're hurting, but with time we will all get through but never forget this wonderful woman who touched our lives.

Though we weren't yet step-sisters, Tonya was like a real older sister to me. I will miss her so much. She was a great person and an amazing mother to Andy.
Nick, I know it's hard, but I know you'll be ok. I'll be thinking about you, and about Andy, and of course about Tonya.

My deepest sympathy to Nick, Andy and all Tonya's family. Tonya was a wonderful friend and she will be greatly missed!

I am trying now to open my heart,
I want you to see a special part.
You are my best friend, I hope you know.
With ever new day that comes, I try to let it show.
There are so many things you and I have shared through the years.
We have shared laughter, happiness, hurts, love and all those tears.
When I needed advice you always came through.
Sometimes it is not exactly what I wanted to hear, that is true.
When I need a kick in the butt, your always the first one there.
I know the reason why is because you care.
When I fall flat on my face and I need a helping hand.
You, my friend, are always there to do what you can.
What I am trying to say is, I love the joy you bring.
When I think of our friendship it makes my heart sing.
To put it plain and simple, "Thanks, I love you".
All that I have said and much more, are all true.
With this I tell you, you are my best friend.
This is a friendship that will never end.
Thank you.

I wrote this for "T" many years ago!
May we all remember the wonderful memories we all have of Tonya!
