Wendy Ann Worrilow, 63 of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday October 15, 2025 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the loving wife of William H. Worrilow, III, with whom she celebrated a 26th wedding anniversary in July. Wendy was born in Lebanon on August 20, 1962, a daughter of the late Earl and Anna Mease Nicholas. She had a passion for hairstyling and pursued it by enrolling in Empire beauty School in 2000and received her certification in 2001. She started her career at Hair Cuttery in the Lebanon Valley Mall. After a year there she moved on to Smart Style in the Lebanon Wal Mart and received the CEO’s Award of Excellence for her ability to style hair and in turn draw more customers. In 2006 she opened Wendy’s Cut & Curl on Washington Ave. in Myerstown where she continued her passion until 2010.
Wendy had never been to the shore in the first 20 years of her life. After her husband-to-be took her to Bethany Beach, DE in the summer of 1982 with their black lab Jason she was smitten with a love for anything sand and ocean. Every August she and Bill would join his parents for a week at Hidden Harbor condos in Bethany where she couldn’t wait to his the beach every day to work on her tan and go in the ocean.
After she, Bill and Justin joined his parents for a week vacation in Cayman Islands for 3 consecutive years from 1987-1989 she became hooked on the Caribbean. In 1999 she and Bill married and honeymooned in Cancun. After that it was a landlubber’s trip to Nashville in 2004; Tulum, Mexico in 2005; a cruise to Bermuda in 2006; Ocho Rios, Jamaica in 2007; Aruba in 2008; Turks & Caicos in 2010. Throughout it all Wendy became immersed in sand, sun and surf and even overcame her fear of water enough to go kayaking in the Atlantic Ocean; scuba diving in Turks and standup paddleboarding on the Chesapeake Bay.
Wendy did not let her limited mobility in recent years stop her from enjoying family time with her grandsons Carter and Aiden at the shore. Though confined to a beach-adapted wheelchair, she loved sitting in that chair watching her 2 grandsons frolic in the ocean as the shore wind blew her hair and the sun kissed her face. Heaven must be missing an angel. She has returned now.
In addition to her husband, Wendy is survived by her son Justin and his wife Nicole; as well grandsons: Carter and Aiden.
