I've known how close you were to your mom, and I got the sense that you two were as thick as thieves as they say.  I'm sure she loved you more than anything in the world and vice versa.  This is very sad news and I know you are hurting inside.  I'm incredibly sorry for your loss.  I would have loved to meet your mom.

Please accept my condolences, and I look forward to giving you a big hug someday when you make it back to Jasper.  No rush on that, take your time.

Agnes was a beautiful person inside and out- she loved her family- We raised our children together and she always supported them. She was a very organized and particular person.  Agnes took up quilting which she made many beautiful quilts for friends and family. She belonged to quilt clubs where she helped to make quilts for those in need- she will be missed- RIP dear friend 

I will always remember your mom as she was my friend for many years.  We shared many good times in Arizona as well as trips down the Oregon Coast.  Many laughs were shared..  Love and sympathy to you and your families.  Mavis Lorentz

So many fond memories of Agnes and the family. The welcoming home and Agnes's amazing cooking. The cross country skiing and the warm red wine (adults only). Making flat bread, oh and not to mention the land line that Agnes would
click if Larry took to long on the phone.  Later on Agnes and Normy stayed in touch and had many great games of marbles with Larry and Dixie. We couldn't have had better neighbors and freinds. Love Sylvia, Larry, Carmen and Dixie


We always had a good time on holidays with Agnes and Norm.  She was always ready for a new adventure.
What a lady.  Very hard worker.  Always organized.  Great hostess.  Excellent cook and all those goodies.

Dearest Lana, Dori and all the family's. So many amazing times with Agnes, she was like a daughter to my parents and a sister to me. 

We were always together....our farm, their farm, Calgary, Sylvan Lake, Phoenix, Mulhurst, Wetaskiwin, and Leduc. Huge meals and overwhelming hospitality. 
She had the biggest, kindest heart ever. 

What a beautiful legacy! She is now enjoying her eternal rewards. May we all cherish memories of this wonderful woman.



Thank you very much for sending your mothers Obituary to all of us. Although I did not know your mother, if she was like you she was a very good and  hard working person. I am very sorry for you and your family's loss and I wish you all the best in this very sad time. I will say a prayer for her at the Hamilton Cathedral where we go to church on Sunday mornings. Your Mom was a very special woman who was very proud of you all and loved you very much. 

Agnes always made people  feel very welcome with an endless supply of very yummy food to enjoy and time spent chatting.

Many hours of fun were spent playing the famous marble game with the Heiman and Erhardt families. Agnes was the best teacher to all the newbies and was very competitive.
When in a game she could be heard saying “ No table talk” to everyone else at the table as she didn’t want cheating.
We had so many laughs together while camping at Em-te Town for Thanksgiving, enjoying the Ponoka Stampede and sitting around many fire pits to the early hours.

Agnes’s creativity and talent shown with the many beautiful quilts and other quilts products she made over the years will always be another wonderful memory. 

I will miss our time spent together and will enjoy your smile. Rest In Peace my dear friend. Say hi to Normie for us all.

I looked forward each year to our day of friendship making hard tack, lefsa and a drink or two. Then a feast enjoying all our hard work and more time enjoying our time together. 
Enjoyed going to the Fabric Frenzy with her,Linda and Carol- I was the hold out on quilting but Agnes always found something I should buy so I would have some of the necessary tools when I made the plunge.

Dear Lana, Dori & Families:  Your mom, our dear cousin Agnes was a very special person and was definitely one-of-a-kind. She was such a great lady!  
Your mom loved and enjoyed her family & friends.  There was never a shortage of food when she was around.  The food just never stopped coming and everything was scrumptious.
She was the most generous person I know.  
Agnes worked tirelessly at everything she did and nothing was too much for her.  She was so kind, caring and gentle to our mom.  Agnes took such good care of mom especially when they travelled together to come down to Kelowna to visit us.
Agnes will be dearly missed by all her loving family & friends.  She will never be forgotten.
