We are so sorry for your loss,  was actually googling Art as we wanted to give you guys a call and his obituary popped up. Pass on our condolences to the family. 
We lost your phone number in a house fire a few years ago and have no way to contact you.. if you or the kids are on Facebook,  message me. We do not have a land line,  not sure if you have our cell numbers
Often think of all our time together at the arena,  coaching with Art was so much fun and all our visits as well.

I want to send my prayers and well wishes to Doreen and Art's family. Art was my special, brother. He was my protector from the bullies who picked on me. He taught me how to play hockey and baseball .He coach our soft ball team from our school and we went with him as our coach to other towns to play against other schools. He was so much fun He would play a lol of jokes on Pearl and Grace. Grace and Art came home for lunch every day from their work ,Art from his job at the garage, and Grace from her job ,at the COOP store. As Grace was leaving to go back to work  Art would be on the roof with a pail of water. It was not a pretty  sight, Boy she was mad.  
Pearl would pay him back for trying to do that to her
Art was such a
fun person every one loved him I am going to miss him big time.


Dearest Auntie Doreen,

My deepest condolences to you and your famly for your loss. I have many fond memories of Uncle Art throughout my life. When I was a young kid, I remember him sitting on his lounge chair in the living room watching baseball on TV, audibly cheering on his team. In my teens, I will always treasure the times playing hockey with James and seeing Uncle Art up in the stands and in the lobby after the games, giving us words of encouragement. All my interactions with Uncle Art he was always so cheerful and funny and kind and genuinely happy to know what I was up to. I will truly miss him and his big, belly laughs that filled the room with so much joy.

Doreen and Family,

I would like to express to each of you our deepest condolences about the passing of Art.    

The first memory that comes to mind is our trip to Jasper.  The way up it rained while Art was driving.  When we would stop at a viewing point and we all got out of the car, the rain would stop.  And as soon as Art started driving again, the rain would start again.  We would laugh.

Art is also survived by sisters Margi, Dorothy, Bea, Carol, Kay (Stuart), Pearl and brother Paul (Glenda).

We have so many memories we really don't know where to begin. Art was a very special friend, always a smile, share a laugh together even if it wasn't funny. Over 58 years we have spent a lot of time together. Many times on a trip for 3 or 4 days  or just at each other's home. Memories last forever, and Art will never be forgotten.. Our  condolences to Doreen and each member of the family. Art will be missed by many. God Bless each one.
