Charles graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1952 with Bachelors degrees in both Arts and Science. Charles is predeceased by his wife, Marian Janice Ritchie (nee Adams) in 2010, whom he married in October 1952 in Guelph. Charles and Marian moved west in 1954 and had three children, Lynn (deceased 2020), David (Leonora) and George (Susanne).
Charles had a diverse career that took him all over western Canada. He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather and is survived by his two siblings, Donald and Barbara.
At Charles' request, no memorial service is being held. Loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, he will be missed and oft-remembered.
