Dennis Gerald Kuta was born on September 7, 1944 to Mary and John Kuta of Thorsby. Dennis was the middle child, with two sisters, Betty and Sylvia.
Growing up, Dennis was a curious and active boy, often getting his sisters as accomplices in his many adventures.
This energy carried over into his love of many sports, including football, hockey and curling; all of which he enjoyed playing and watching.
Over the years Dennis had many jobs, beginning with a paper route and then a position at the local Nu-Way department store during High School. He worked for various other companies before finding his way to Westinghouse, where he stayed for many years. Dennis then moved on to the Woodwards’ warehouse; it was during this time that he started his longest lasting and favorite position, that of a farmer.
Active in the church, Dennis was a strong, practical and determined man. If something had to be done, he did it with zeal. Later in his life, Dennis devoted much of his time to helping his mom, a role that he loved and that they both appreciated.
Dennis will forever be remembered for his faith and determination, energy and positive attitude. He was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend.
