Dwayne Allan Carstairs

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dwayne at the age of 64 years. Dwayne will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years Lucy, his two sons Steven (Carlita), Mike (Amy), his daughter Jody (Mike) Gaudet, five grandchildren Alexander, Aila, Corbin, Matthew and Alyson, father Walter (Lil), brother Terry, sister Lynn (Dave) White, Mother-in-law Lillian (Peter) Fortier, Brother-in-law Claude (Laura) Fortier, Renè (Ingrid) Fortier, Sister-in-laws Claire (Darcy) Whitworth, Jeannette (Rob) Van Camp, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and abundance of friends including his Thursday morning coffee group.

Dwayne was predeceased by his mother, Grace, three brothers Bruce, Randy and Darcy, Father-in-law Emile Fortier and nephew Ryan Van Camp.

Dwayne fought long and hard, staying in the comfort of his home as long as he was able. Surrounded by his Family, he decided it was time to let go.

Our Family extends our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. As per Dwayne’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
