

It is with broken hearts and extreme sadness we announce the passing of Emma Marie Kuny at the age of 91 years. She passed away peacefully at Salem Manor Nursing Home in Leduc with family by her side.
Her memory will be cherished by her daughters, Joanne (Errol) Maciborsky and Ruby (Rod) Stefura; sons, Donnie (Shannon) Kuny and Lorne (Jacquie) Kuny; son-in-law, Barry Dunn; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; twin sister, Clara Kuny; brothers, Tom Rehaume and Dick Rehaume; sister-in-law, Ella Rehaume as well as many nieces and nephews.
Emma was predeceased by her husband, Joe; daughter, Jeanette Dunn; granddaughter, Amanda Maciborsky; parents, Israel and Emma Rehaume; brothers, Leroy (Edna), Benny and Bill (Audrey); sister, Audrey (Arden) Pomeranz; brother-in-law, Carl Kuny, and sister-in-law, Eva Rehaume.
Emma enjoyed camping, crafting, board games, watching the Oilers, reading her Bible and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
The family would like to thank Cecil Ali and all the staff of Salem Manor Nursing Home for all of their loving kindness and care given to our Mother. A special thank you to Pastor Dieter Gohl for his prayers and loving words of kindness. Our family will be forever grateful, God Bless you all.
A Celebration of Emma’s Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Leduc Fellowship Church, 4401 Rollyview Road, Leduc, AB. Interment to follow at Leduc Cemetery.
