October 4, 1924 – December 18, 2013
At the age of 89 years, Garry Kirchner, formerly of Telfordville, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Salem Manor in Leduc, AB.
Left to cherish his memory are his partner and wife Lena of 67 years; daughters Barbara Smith of Tualatin, Oregon and Marlene (Sam) Kobeluck of Thorsby, AB; two grand-daughters, Pamela (Dean) Gitzel and Shelley (Blair) Kuzio and four great-grandchildren; Joshua and Megan Gitzel; Hunter and Zachary Kuzio and numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Gottlieb and Olga; four brothers, Reinhold, Rudolf, Albert and Bruno and one sister, Wanda.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Thorsby on December 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Telfordville Church Cemetery.
