It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucille Sikora on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at the age of 89 years. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother known for her kindness.
Lucille will be deeply missed by her daughters: Gale Adair (Tom), Cheryl Cameron (James); grandchildren: Kelly Goudreau (René), Sarah Dubienski (Stephen), Heather Cameron (Gavin) and Trevor Cameron; and great-grandchildren: Isabelle, Abigail, Cohen, Jacey, Adele, Penelope and Violet. She also leaves behind her sister Betty Paiement (Gilles); along with numerous nieces, nephews and step-sibling Irvin Krezanoski.
Lucille was predeceased by her loving husband Fred Sikora; parents Mary Krezanoski and Matthew Hayduk; sisters Maxine Hamula and Bernadette Hayduk;and her step-siblings Eleanor Falez and Louise McKinlay.
We would like to thank her wonderful companions and the staff at Chartwell Westcott for their outstanding care, compassion and kindness.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church (5023 48 Ave Calmar, Alberta) with interment to follow at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
