Mel is survived by his two sons, Gary (Tersea) and Dale, step-children, Doris, Wendy, Diane, George and Dale; four grandchildren, Marcia, Michelle, Shaun and Kelsey; great granddaughter Isabella and special friends, Alice Newman and her son Bob. He was predeceased by his wife Joan, three sisters and three brothers.
