September 21, 1962 – November 2, 2024

It is with great love and sadness that the family of Michelle Louise de Groot, announce her passing on November 2, 2024 at the age of 62.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Francis, of 39 years; sons, Michael (Anastasia) and Steven (Kathryn); two nephews, three nieces, seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Michelle is survived by her mother Carol; siblings: Carol Anne (John), Buddy (Laura), Lisa Marie (Kenneth), Laurie, Jay (Joyce); and her brother-in-law Jon (Barbara).
She was predeceased by her father, John.
Born to John and Carol Powell in Victoria, BC, Michelle was an incredible Daughter, loving Wife, amazing Mother, and wonderful Nana. She loved reading, crocheting, running, a good laugh and most of all her family.
Michelle will forever be cherished by those who knew her and will be sorely missed.
