Nettie passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 11, 2015 at the age of 85 years.
Survived by her son Richard (Janis); daughters Rose Mary Peel and Jeannie (Tim) Stein; grandchildren Lorinda Peel, Sherilyn Peel, Ryan Peel, Amy (Luke) Babichuk, Patricia Stein, Jennie Rae (Scott) Weisenberger, and Jason (Kerri) Alexander; great-grandchildren Hazel Peel, Jaxon Babichuk, Lily and Scarlett Weisenberger, Cohen, Luka and Sawyer Alexander; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Predeceased by her husband Alex and her sisters Nina, Lydia and Vera.
Private Family Service was held at St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery, Thorsby.
Memorial Donations may be made in Nettie’s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
