We were so sorry to hear of Norm’s passing. He was always such a kind person. Always quick with a joke and as a kid, your home was a place where the door was always open. We are thinking of you during this difficult time.

So many great memories of time spent with Norm around the camp fire, making hard tack, playing marbles, talking politics ,watching curling or talking football.
Norm always welcomed you with a smile but you sure had to watch what kind of prank he was going to pull. My favourite was being the recipient of frozen coyotes being put into my truck - the trouble he caused but never dealt out with a mean spirit. Norm would flash that smile and you never could be mad at him.
Always enjoyed just sitting chatting about anything and everything with you, Agnes, Lloyd & Linda.

My condolences to Agnes, Lana, Dori and all extended family.  He was definitely a prankster!  He once borrowed one of our goats Halloween night. Put it in His nieces dairy barn.   The next morning their dairy cows were so traumatized, they stampeded to the far end of field and would not enter that dairy barn for days!  He was a wonderful neighbor and friend.

I have many great memories of my Uncle Norman - my "godfather "
 Always good, always smiling and laughing.  I remember going to pigeon lake as a kid - riding in the back of the truck to brother Arts,  riding that 3-wheel death trike, sipping a cold beer with him (or a nice rye), the wonderful nights with good food and friends around, him giving me free pop from the Pipestone curling rink, great family times ... and the list goes on.  I will miss you Uncle!  RIP

I will always remember Uncle Norman as the guy who always saw life as the glass half full all while always teasing and joking with  us nieces and nephews ....his infection smile and laugh will forever remind me of him as my strongest memory growing up. In my adult years a lot of our conversations after we discussed how my family was all doing turned to pride he had for his two daughters and other  four special  joys in his life his grandchildren who made that great big smile even wider when he spoke of them!
