Russell leaves his wife Amy, two sons Kevin (Robyn) and Adam (Kelsey), granddaughter Lucy, his mother Hellena Yurkiw, sister Melody (Greg) Johnson, brother Bruce (Carolyn) Yurkiw, as well as numerous nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Nicholas Yurkiw, along with numerous aunts and uncles.
Russell spent many years in the Royal Bank at the Agricultural and small business lending field. He retired 12 years ago and went on to work at G4 security and then to Enterprise car rentals.
His favorite past times were fishing and wood working, building numerous projects around the house and small projects for family and friends.
Celebration of Russell’s Life will take place on Friday July 8, 2022 at Telford House, 4907 – 46 Street, Leduc at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Leduc Fish & Game Association or to Alberta Ducks Unlimited.
